Metal drilling tools
The twist drills are made in HSS (super rapid steel), HSSCo5 (super rapid cobalt), powder metal (PM HSS) and solid carbide (also tipped twist drills). The classifications may be in stub drills (3xD), jobber drills (5xD), long drills (8xD), extra-long drills (10xD), and up to 20xD (able to drill up to 20 times in depth compared to the diameter). The twist drills vary also according to geometrical shapes and coatings, oxidized or coated in TiN or TiALN (Titanium Nitride and Titanium Aluminium Nitride). The spotlight is on drills with rings (Ring Drill line) for stainless steel and tough materials, heat resistant and universal materials. The solid carbide twist drills equipped with slots for lubrication prevail in the Evolution line. The Morse taper shank twist drills have a huge range depth and are available in standard (5xD), long (8xD, 10xD) and extra long (10xD and beyond) series. The center drills are in HSS, HSSCo5 and micro-grain solid carbide, also to be used on CN machines and TiN and TiAlN coated. Pay attention to the subland twist drills (with dual diameters) with parallelMorse taper shank at 90°and 180° and for drilling prior to tapping. Lastly, a very interesting offer of twist drills sets in HSS, HSSCo5, and TiN coated.
